Traditional Christmas Lights

How it works.

1

Design

We make your vision come to life. Once agreed upon, we’ll render a mock-up of your property — then we make it real.

2

Installation

This is no normal installation — we make it an experience. Each Elf brings the Christmas cheer with our Christmas music and costumes. But more importantly, we pride ourselves on safety: every Elf uses the proper PPE, and we make sure weather permits the install.

3

In-season maintenance

Any problem at all, contact us and we’ll be out within 24–48 hours. One bulb goes out, a squirrel chews a wire to a tree light — it doesn’t matter. Everything is covered free of charge.

4

Takedown & storage

Starting January 4th we begin takedowns as weather permits — we remove all lights, label, package, and store them away so they’re ready for next year.

FAQ

Christmas lighting questions

Book by early fall. Thraxel installs Christmas lighting only when weather permits, and the good November weekends fill first, so a September or October booking locks a spot before the first hard freeze. Installs run from early November through the start of December, and takedowns begin January 4.
Everything. Thraxel designs the display and sends a render mock-up of your property, installs the lights with a costumed crew when weather allows, returns within 24 to 48 hours at no charge for any in-season problem, takes the lights down starting January 4, and labels, packages and stores them until next year.
Call or text and Thraxel is out within 24 to 48 hours, free of charge. A dark bulb, a squirrel-chewed wire on a tree, a timer that drifted, it does not matter. In-season maintenance is part of the seasonal program, not an add-on.
Yes. Takedowns start January 4 as weather permits. The crew removes every strand and figure, labels and packages them, and stores them off-season so next year's install is faster and nothing sits in your garage.
Yes. Thraxel lights restaurants, plazas, venues, churches, dealerships and railbike attractions across PA, MD, WV, OH and NY. Commercial displays use the same full-service program: design, render, install, in-season service and storage. Large commercial and rail-tourism projects go through AJ at 240-730-4064.
If you only want warm white for one month a year and love the look of glass C9 bulbs, seasonal lighting is the better buy. If you want the house lit for Halloween, July 4th, game day and everyday warm white too, permanent RGBWW lighting usually wins inside a few seasons. Thraxel quotes both for free.
